Sa kaniyang press conference ngayong Miyerkules, Pebrero 19, tungkol sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, inihayag ni Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero na magsisimula lamang ang impeachment trial kapag nakumpleto na ang Senado at nagkaroon ng 24 miyembro upang makakuha umano ng two-thirds na boto ukol sa impeachment trial.
“We will do all of the preliminary matters before trial, before 20th Congress, but most likely the trial will commence once the 20th Congress convenes,” dagdag ni Escudero.
