Itinuring ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na makasasayan ang kauna-unahang pagpupulong nila ni Senate President Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero na naganap nitong Huwebes, Hunyo 13, upang mapalakas pagtutulungan at kooperasyon ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso sa pag-apruba ng mahahalagang panukal ng administrasyong Marcos.
“This meeting symbolizes a renewed and reinvigorated partnership between the House of Representatives and the Senate under the leadership of Senate President Escudero,” sabi ni Romualdez.
Ang pagpupulong ng dalawang lider ng Kongreso ay magsisilbing prelimary encounter sa gaganaping Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) sa Hunyo 25.
“Together, we are committed to working hand-in-hand to pass key legislation that will significantly benefit the Filipino people,” dagdag ni Romualdez.
