Kinonsidera ng dating Palace spokesman na si Atty. Salvador Panelo na “political propaganda” lamang ang criminal complaint na inihain ni ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro laban kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Nagsampa si Castro ng grave threat na reklamo laban kay Duterte noong Oktubre 24 dahil sa umano’y mga banta sa kamatayan na ginawa niya sa pambansang telebisyon.
“The only reason why that complaint was filed is for political propaganda,” ayon kay Panelo.
Ipinatawag si Duterte na humarap sa prosecutor’s office ng Quezon City sa Disyembre 4 at 11.
Gayunpaman, sinabi ni Panelo na “completely ignoring” ni Duterte ang reklamo ni Castro.
“If I were to be the prosecutor, I would outright dismiss [the complaint] because there is absolutely no basis,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
