Mayroon na umanong “all clear signal” ang International Criminal Court (ICC) para ipagpatuloy ang imbestigasyon sa pagtukoy kung sino pa ang ibang perpetrators sa kasong crimes against humanity ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kaugnay sa kanyang war on drugs campaign, ayon kay ICC Assistant to Counsel Atty. Kristina Conti.

“This is an all clear signal for the investigation to continue with the determination of who are the other perpetrators of Duterte. Generally, ICC has an idea but I guess this green-lights the application for additional warrant,” saad ni Conti.

Ito ay matapos ibasura ng Pre-Trial Chamber I ng ICC ang challenge to jurisdiction ng kampo ni Digong hinggil sa kaso ng dating pangulo.

“This green-lights the application for additional warrant,” saad ni Conti sa isang panayam sa ANC Dateline Philippines.

“So if anyone is arrested, including Sen. Bato dela Rosa, whom we have long sought after as one of the co-perpetrators, I would say it’s best to get things over and done,” dagdag pa niya.

Inirekomenda rin ni Conti sa senador na “he submit himself to the jurisdiction of the court” at kuwestiyunin ang kaso hinggil sa merits nito para matukoy “kung siya ba talaga ay may kasalanan o wala.”
