“The Defense will not call witnesses to testify at the confirmation hearing. This is a principled decision because credibility is given little weight at confirmation,” saad ng defense panel ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ito ay alinsunod sa mga kautusang inilabas ng Pre-Trial Chamber I ng International Criminal Court (ICC) noong Marso 21 at Abril 17 na hinihiling ang mga “observations on matters related to the conduct of confirmation proceedings.”

“The Defence for Mr Rodrigo Roa Duterte hereby provides the information ordered by the Pre-Trial Chamber,” mababasa sa limang pahinang dokumento na isinumite ng defense na may petsang Hulyo 24, 2025.

“The Defence does not wish to give advance notice of the many potential Defence witnesses who would counter the evidence provided by the Prosecution’s discrete,” giit ng defense panel ni Digong.
