Naniniwala si House Speaker Martin Romualdez na malaking tulong ang naganap na World Economic Forum (WEF) Country Roundtable sa Pilipinas dahil lilikha ito ng mas maraming direct foreign investments na magreresulta sa karagdagang job at livelihood opportunities para sa mga Pinoy.

Matatandaan na noong Enero 2024, inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang delegasyon mula sa Pilipinas na magtungo sa WEF para sa 2024 meeting sa Davos, Switzerland na naging susi sa pagdaraos ng WEF Country Roundtable discussion dito sa bansa.
